**Objects:** TO ASSIST PERSONS WHO MAY HAVE NEED OF SUPPORT BY VIRTUE OF POOR HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF:  A) ADVANCING LIFE AND BY DEVELOPING SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE PERSONS TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS;  B) ADVANCING EDUCATION;  C) RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT;  D) ADVANCING PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND WELL BEING.

**Activities:** School of Hard Knocks uses sport and other challenging activities to help participants re-engage with school or find employment. All of our courses seek to develop a sense of citizenship and work towards improvement in mental and physical health and wellbeing. Other objectives include: Reduced crime, money management, career planning,  increased confidence and increased personal responsibility.
