**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF BLIND AND PARTIALLY SIGHTED PEOPLE WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE NEWCASTLE BOROUGH COUNCIL DISTRICT AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** TO PROVIDE A SOCIAL CLUB FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE AND THEIR CARERS.  MEETS EVERY FRIDAY.ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BAKING, FLOWER ARRANGING, GENTLE EXERCISE, SPECIAL INTEREST SPEAKERS, SOCIAL SERVICES INFORMATION GIVING AND VISITS TO PUBS AND GARDEN CENTRES.SPECIALIST TRANSPORT PROVIDED. THERE ARE COSTS FOR THIS SERVICE, E.G. SUBSCRIPTION, LUNCH, REFRESHMENTS AND TRANSPORT.
