The New Life Community Church Spilsby serves the Community of Spilsby and District and runs the New Life Centre in Spilsby for the purposes of providing a place of Worship and a Community Centre where the needs of the community are met through a wide range of Projects.
The Trustees as Charity Trustees are responsible for the management and administration of the Church property and funds in accordance with our Constitution
This Report will identify our Activities and Objectives in the year, our achievements and performance including reporting on public benefits and a Financial Review.
New Life Community Church (New Life Centre)
Overview
The New Life Community Church Spilsby serves the community of Spilsby and District and runs The New Life Centre in Spilsby for the purposes of providing a place of Worship and Community Centre where needs of the community are met through a wide range of Projects.
The Trustees as Charity Trustees are responsible for the management and administration of the Church’s Property and Funds in accordance with our Constitution. Trustees are elected in accordance with our Constitution.
This report will identify our activities and objectives in the year 1[st] September 2021 to 31[st] August 2022, including the report on the finances of the Charity New Life Community Church Spilsby.
THE CHURCH
The aims and objectives of The Church are to demonstrate the love of Jesus in word and deed by providing a safe place where all people of the Community are free to meet together in peace and unity for the good of the community. We aim to provide a non-judgemental and loving environment in which people are accepted as they are, with opportunities to develop their spiritual life.

COMMUNITY LARDER
The New Life Centre is home to the Spilsby and District Community Larder and is supported by the community for the community and is run by volunteers. Local churches, schools, supermarkets, businesses, organisations, community projects and residents generously donate to the Community Larder.
We have supplied on average 8 food parcels per weeks to needy individuals and families in financial crisis in the Community.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
As part of the community outreach by the centre, we have been holding a coffee morning on a Monday which is open to all, running along side the coffee morning is the Community Hub which was started during the year. Help, advice, signposting and counselling is available at this session.
The Community Hub is new to the Centre during this financial year and the following sessions have been taking place at the centre and in the local community. Monday 10-1pm, Tuesday 12-3pm, Wednesday 7.30am-3pm, Friday 12-3pm. The Hub is open to everyone for help, support, advice, signposting and counselling. The Hub is expanding into the local communities surrounding Spilsby.
Mental Health has been on the increase and we have provided a safe place for Men and Women to meet in Spilsby. On Thursday evenings we have the Brotherhood, on Tuesday we have Eve, a women’s support group. Both Groups are well attended and some of the attendees have gone onto volunteer at the groups having experienced the benefit.
The Wednesday Craft Group is run from 12-3pm, the group is open to everyone, there is an emphasis on supporting people with Mental Health issues. The session is run by the Head of Social Care, a Counsellor and Volunteers
Kidspace is a designated space for 0-5year olds, which is open for use on Monday between 10-12, and at other times throughout the week during the drop in sessions.
The Youth Club at New Life is run on a Monday evening from 6.30-8.30 and is run by a team of Youth Support Workers that provide a fun, safe and engaging space for young people in Y7-Y9. The sessions are delivered in the way of crafts, games, social gaming, topical discussion, sports and current affairs.
Training is provided to all staff relevant to their role, in addition to this we hold Staff Training days throughout the year and ensure everyone is aware of all policies and procedures and updating accordingly. DBS checks are undertaken subject to the role.

We work in partnership with many organisations. The public benefit of our partnership programme allows us to sign post easily to our members. Below is a list of our current partners.

I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect.:
