REPORT FROM TRUSTEES AND ACTIVITIES REVIEW FOR THE YEAR 202112022 This year, in line with the aims and objectives asslgned to the charity, New Life Christian Fellowship has, in addition to spreading the Good News of the Kingdom, undertaken to serve the local community. It should be noted that the Covid 19 pandemic and its aftermath has affected our activities. Though. regardless of all the difficulties. we managed to cary out these activities. From 21 to 22 August 2021 "Rise and shine" This yearwe organised the 'Rise and Shine, event with the speaker being Pastor Derick Chunda from Manchester. The event was well attended and aimed to raise awareness of the talents and gifts that God has placed in people and that need to be awakened. With the doors of the church open to the community. many people from Rochdale and the surrounding area took advantage of the event, which lasted a total of days. 17-19 December 2020 '0pen Heaven" The Open Heaven festival is organised by the church with several churches invited to participate. This year we had over 250 people from all over the population enjoying th8 teachings and music. The speakers were Pastor Ben Dowding from Yorkshire, Pastor Alexis Mukunayi from Liverpool, and Apostle Andr& Diba from Rochdale.
19-20 March 2022 The lebratiOn of Women's Day. As part of this conference, we lebrated what women bring to our society. This celebration was made possible with the financial support of Action Together. To make it happen. we invtted the following speakers.. Angelique Diba, Kathleen Kwakwe Trainee Counsellor, Memory Nyabunzwi- Ogbamiey. Managing Director of Olive Pathway Rainbow Personnel Limited. Coach Layo. Life Coach and Founder and Managing Director of @Blossom Foundation, and Pamela Diba, Quality Primary Teacher and TEFL Trainer. Feedback from participants was very encouraging, with a lot of community involvement. 16-17 Aprll 2022 New Life Christian Fellowship organised an Easter Celebration with clK)irs from Manchester, London, and Ireland. This was an excellent opportunity to bring families together after a prolonged period of isolation due to the restrtctions of Covid 19. The above report has been presented to the Church members and approved by them at the General Meeting on Sunday 15 January 2023 23 May to 24 June The New Life has offered its facilities to Rochdale Sixth Form College to host the end of year exams.
