The DORCAS' organisation provide informal and socially inclusive training for local people: Health Lectures; Keep Fit classes; healthy cooking with an emphasis on vegetarian cooking; the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to nurture personal development toward mental health and well-being; I.T. literacy and numeracy me in the Boroughs of Wandsworth, Lambeth & Kingston to who have need of life skills.
Objects: To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of The London Boroughs Of Wandsworth & Lambeth And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education, Promote And Preserve Good Health And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.
