In response to the risk of irregularities and non-compliance with laws and regulations, we designed procedures which included, bul werè not limited lo. agreeing financial slaleinenl disclosures to underlying supporting documentslion", reading the minutes of meetings of those charged with governance., enquiring of management as to actual and potential liligalion and claims. There are inherent limitations in our audit procedures described above. The more removed that laws and regulations are fTom financial transactions. the less likely it is that we would become aware ol non-compliance. Auditing standards also limit the aLJdit procedures required lo idenlify non-compliance with laws and regu5alions lo enquiry of the Iruslees and other management and the inswlion of regulatory and legal correspondence, if any.
