The management Committee (who are also the Trustees) submits their report and financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2021.

Insight to I.E.C.B

Islamic Education Centre Birmingham is a forward thinking, creative and energetic group of individuals involved in a wide variety of projects – from large conferences inviting esteemed Scholars to smaller scaled local projects that are dedicated to benefit the young and old, males and females and all aspects of the community without discriminating ethnicity or social and geographical background.

Islamic Education Centre Birmingham is pushing creative boundaries and welcomes any projects where design and innovation are part of success in accordance with authentic teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

Objective, principal activities and organization of the charity

• -Our objectives were very minimal in 2020 due to COVID 19 Outbreak.

• -Through out the year the madrassah classes had to come to a halt due to the restrictions given by the government.

• -Congregational prayers resumed from July 2020 to which we had to ensure temperature checks of all attendees before entering the mosque.

• -Attendees were required to bring a bag to insert their shoes as well as a prayer mat and a mask (prayer mat and masks were also provided).

• -Attendee may not enter without wearing a mask.

• -Each attendee stood at a marked spot ensuring 2-metre distancing was being implemented.

We have not audited the financial statements. Accordingly, we do not express an audit opinion or any other form of assurance that the accounting records and the financial statements are free from material misstatement.
