A **NNUAL REPORT 2021-22** **Pontypridd Children’s Contact Centre** _**Supporting family contact throughout RCT**_ **1** PONTYPRIDD CHILDRENI CONTACT CENTRE ntypridd PONTYPRIOD EME DONATE £5 TODAY 1000 th•nc•s It¢¢)ukl I Ckaribe5 Ill, Pontypridd Children’s Contact Centre has seen a busy year throughout 2021-22. The Centre has opened to full capacity and recovered well after the covid pandemic. The Centre continues to offer the following services: - Supervised contact - Supported contact - Handover - Zoom indirect contact The Centre aims to ensure that where possible and safe to do so, that every child receives the love and support of key family members after divorce or irretrievable family separation. The Centre has predominately helped to support individual families residing in Pontypridd, Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, Cardiff, Caerphilly, Bridgend, and sometimes other areas of the country. The Centre has supported over 75 individual families throughout the year. **3** ## _**“The Centre has been invaluable in**_ ## **Funding** The Centre receives CAFCASS Cymru, Welsh Government funding to deliver both supervised and supported contact. Other forms of funding are obtained through grant applications, referral fees and donations. The Centre is affiliated and accredited by the National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC). The NACCC provides mandatory training modules for volunteers to complete throughout the year. ## Volunteers have completed NACCC accredited modules including: - Induction - Health and Safety - Family breakdown - Managing conflict - Understanding family Law - Working with reluctant families ## _Service user comments_ **6** _“Thank you to everyone at Pontypridd Children’s Contact Centre for their kindness. The charÈty's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year und¢r section 144(2) of the Clwities Aci 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent exan)ination is needed. It is rny resp)nsibility to: examine the a¢¢ounts under section 145 of the 2011 ACL to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Cbarity Commissioner undeT section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act. and to stste whether particular matters have come to my attention.
