Activities

We run an open access Community Centre from which we base charitable services to the community. We directly provide lettable rooms, a community library, a community resource centre and a community archive. We host the Post Office, South Brent and District Caring, Art House, The South Brent Community Fitness centre, Moortrees and a wide range of other groups and organisations.

Objects: The Charity's Objects (“Objects”) Are Specifically Restricted To The Following:the Objects Of The Company Are To Promote The Benefit Of The Public And The Inhabitants Of South Brent And Its Environs (The "Area Of Benefit") And In Particular To:a) Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of South Brent And Neighbourhood By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants;b) Establish, Or Secure The Establishment Of, A Community Centre (Hereinafter Called "The Centre") And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Statutory Authority Or Other Person Or Body) In Furtherance Of The Objects;c) To Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes As May From Time To Time Be Determined.
