**Objects:** THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED(THE &quot;OBJECTS&quot;)ARE TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMY BY INCREASING PHYSICAL FITNESS,FOSTERING THE ESPRIT DE CORPS AND RAISING MORALE OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMY,IN PARTICULAR(BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION),THROUGH FACILITATING AND ENCOURAGING PARTICIPATION BY MEMBERS OF THE ARMY IN WINTER SPORTS AND PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF WINTER SPORTS FOR THE ARMY.

**Activities:** The AWSA&#x27;s task is to encourage service personnel to participate in Winter Sports; to develop skills in a chosen sport; to test themselves in demanding conditions, thereby fostering self-discipline, fitness, courage and teamwork.  Winter Sports contribute directly to military output &amp; fighting spirit, are an essential part of decompression from ops and remain an element of the moral component.
