1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES
a) Basis of Pr•paratlon
The financial statements have been wepared:
- in accordance with The Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities
(Charities SORPI. effective from 1 January 2016 and applicabte accountirvJ standards
under the historic cost convention and in actsydan￿ with the Financial Reporting
Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).
The income and expenditure account has been p￿pared In a fcmat which dÈffers from that
prescribed by the Companies Act 2006 in order to present a true and fair view. The effect
of this departure is to alter the presentation of the accounts because Schedule 4
Companies Act 20[￿ and the Financial ReFQrting Stsndard for Smaller Entities formats are
not suitable for a company which is vtholty dependent on donat￿n$ and not in business to
generate a profft.
