Our new courses offering basic skilts in home maintenance. DIY and upcycling have proved very popular. They give a potent form of empowermentto everyday liwng. As wtth last year. the number of instrument making and repair courses has remained static, with good attendance especially on the repaircourses and the proportion ofArt and Craft courses compared to instrument reLated courses to has increased. The quality of weeklytuition remains very high and our tutors continue to offer short courses in addition. We continue to increase reserves to give us resilience against the almost inevitable recession thatwill corne along soon. Many of our tutorg and participants highlyvalue the weekly courses we run and we wanttotry and en8urewe can keep runningthe courses. even when numbers decline during the recession. We have not yet started repairingthe heavily used equipment that is owned bythe Bangham family and loaned to the charity. bLrt WILI need to soon. We h8ve reviewed a variety of legislative changes that might affect 8 charity such as ours and believe we still fulfil our obligation.
