Our second Strateg￿ aim focu5es on delivemg impact for Ihose in krw-resource setting5 and for Ihe global
health and tropical rnediune commut7ity. Thi5 year we started to develop athiwires and benefits to encoura

help us lulfil ouc goals. We also utilised our profile and neh¥orks to promote and ?￿Ven¢ more mu

We initiated nKJre guKlance and mentoring CfJFKJrtvnit￿5 Onli￿ and at our events. and in particular for those
applwng 10 our Earfy Career Grants Progfamrnè. Wè were p￿aSed that Ihe number of submissions to thè
Grants Programme increased from 1.914 to 2.127 and we were able to in￿aSe the number of awafds to 229
so far, ￿th over 95% of awardees based in LMIC'S. and 52% being awarded to ferna￿ researchers with the
help of our ijonor partner5. This year we worked with partner5 to champion Wortd NTD Day, aloTrJ with rnany
other focus days induding the Intemats)nal snakets.te Awareness Day on September 19th. which we c

existing office came to an end in Decernbw 2023. after 13 years. After evaluating optlons of leasirvj. buying
or working rèmotely the Board decidéd to find 8rM)ther leasè and agreed lor RSTMH to relocat8 10 a ground
floor office a short walk away at Jcthn Street. LorKlon. This move, cm a five-year kase, represents a ￿5t saving
ol around 33%.
The Board met in person in Seplember 2023 before and after wr Annual Meetirvj lo finalise the overall KPI'S

The Grants and Awards Commrttee oversees the RSTMH Early Career Grants Prograrnrne, and Ihis was
another successftjl year for the Programme. We received 2.127 awical￿ns by the deadline in W"1, which is
an inuea5e of 11% from Sa5t year. (her 1.700 of these passed thr(wh to assessment anLI of Ihese. 229 grants
