AIMS AND PURPOSES
Our aim has been to provide a high standard community facility which will accommodate in
particular for the local community residents and the wider communitv. A prayer room, good
classrooms and a community Nursery, so that we can help people advance in education and
religion.
08JEcfivES AND ACTivrriES
We are committed in enabling as many people as possible to worship and benefit from the
centre. We regularly consult members of the congregation and take their views and opinions
on area5 of improvement, as well as consulting other non congregational members who
reside in close proximity of the centre.
Our service5 and worship put faith into Practi￿ by openin8 Its doors for five times dailv
prayer, education for the young and old. male and female. Provision of counselling for the
youth by arranging youth activities and working alongside other agencies to help Improve
civic relationship and understanding the needs of the community and a55i5ting in areas of
need.
ACHIEVEMENfs AND PERFORMANCE
We have now opened the doors to our Prayer hall after having completed extensive
refurbishment work. People can now come and enjoy worship in a serene environment and
we have over a IIX) people attendingthe centre and this number is increasing weekly.
We have completed work to other parts of the centre and this has allowed us to create
educational facility for the local youn8 boys and girfs to do extrn-curricular activities and faith
studies in the evening and weekends.
Exclusive classes are running twice a week for women, where they can learn and share
experiences, in a friendly atmosphere at the centre. Many more activities are planned for the
future including Arabic language courses. Arabic grammar and coun5elling sessions.

THE COMMUNITY ROOM
NURSERY
The community room is now completed and used for classes for local publlc, the classes
throughout the day are very popular with the female population. The nursery roorn has also
been completed and fully operational.
YOUTH ACTivmES
Every Saturday our youth are involved in a local football matches at the local hlgh School Essa
Academy. The youth football tournament Is very successful and in high demand.
VOLUNTEERS
We would like to thank all our volunteers for their exceptlonal support from the start until
date, in fulfilling our objective5. Volunteers have been involved in various tasks, this has
included collecting donations, announclng and advertising the communlty centre, organising
football toumaments, study circle5 and they have been involved in the project management
of the centre refurbishment.
STRucfuRE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Currently there are three Trustees who deal wlth the support of volunteers with the trust
affairs in line with our Governing Document.
The three named trustees are:

Mohammed Amin Patel
Idris Patel (Treasurer)
We have met Several times duringthe year and has resulted at 95% attendance.
We encourage our congregates to take an actlve voluntary role in the upkeep of the centre
and other arranged activities at the centre.

Our alm is to collect £100 each week in Friday congregations from over ISO attendees, thls
will help to tover the gas, water, electricity and general running cost of the charity building.
We always have a minimum of £lCrfXI to cover all the direct debits just in case our collertions
were lowerthan expected. Members in the local community can a150 providethe communtty
centre with emergency interest free loans, collectively we can raise upto £SOOO from over IS
regular attendees. and however the agreement of the short term loan is to pay them back
within 60 days.
Flnanclal Rewew
The accounts are made up to the end of March 2025 We received donationsllncome of
£192502,64 in the year 24/25 This helped towards the costs of the maintenance of the Trust
property and all other related expenses Which were £167,559.73 with a balance of
24,942.91.
The income also helped to reduce the long-term debt on the building and aged borrowers bv
£25,000.00 Now the building is fully refurbished and complete our aim wlll be redu￿ the debt
over the next few years.
