MANAGEMENT The ruling body of the Club is The Board of Directors and all authority for the business of the Club is vested in it. FINANCIAL RESULTS The attached financial results for the yearto 31" July 2025 were presented and approved atth8 Annual General Meeting on 22- September 2025. At that m8etin& the Treasurer. Davi(J Watethouse presented his report. The key points are shown below. He confirmed that ourfinances were satisfactory and would be looking even better when some addition81 exp8Cted income was received. In the year- Income from Membership subscriptions increased to £15.415 f rom £14,790 in the previous year. We are not proposing to change subscription rates. We need to spend additional time, energy and money on recruitment activities to grow our membership. We received a £5.000 grant from The Postcode CommunityTrust. We claimed and received Gift Aid relating to 2020121: the amount we receive(J was £2.282 including £221 interest. We were keen to encour8ge members of our male chorus, Sussex Kings of Harmony, to attend the annu81 Convention of the British Association of Barbershop Singers in Bournemouth in May2025 and y￿re able to paythe Weekend registration fees forthose thet attended Irom grant receipts. The Concert in October 2024 generated a surplLts of £848 (income of £1.951 less expenses of £1.1031. Other Concerts- includingour8nnualsingwith Usfor Christmas D￿emtser event and the joint concert wilh the local U3A choir in June-were more concerned with ihe public educ8tion and appreciation aspects of our charitable purposes than with generatingfunds for the club. The"Auction of Promises" Fund raising event in June 2025 generated a surplus of £1.915. No sponsorship donations v*re received in 2024125 or 2023124. Overall. Receipts exceeded pa￿nents by £5.093 and we ended the year with £12,369 in the bank. Aft8rthe year-end, we submitted thecLaimf0rGift￿d relatingto 2021122-we received that cash {£2,921 including interest) in August- as we prepare our Accounts on a Cash basis, that amount is not included in the 24125 figures.
