KBCS Report 22/23

Kakatua Kakatua Bulu Cockatoo Sanctuary

Registered in England and Wales Charity Number 1146051

Annual Report 2023 - 2024

Objectives

The charity’s objectives as set out below are:

a). To offer life time Sanctuary to all unwanted, neglected, abused, disabled, or ill cockatoos of all species.

b). To raise funds to enable the charity to carry out this work by encouraging donations from the public and request sponsorships from families (where applicable) who leave their cockatoos at the Sanctuary.

Work Carried Out

During this period the charity constructed yet another new building to house the cockatoos. Always as previously the building has light and heat as many of those cockatoos are either old, feather plucked or disabled and these birds are not able to live in an aviary.

This building was funded by donations from the public to the charity, the charity's only source of income.
