I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 15/01/2024. 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or 

- the accounts do not accord with the accounting records 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

FIVE MASJIDS WERE INVOLVED IN PROVIDING REGULAR
PRAYERS AND ACTIVITIES, WITH HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE
ATENDING THE CONGREGATIONAL SALAH (PFIAYERS) ON A
DAILY BASIS.
ISLAMIC COURSES AND CLASSES
REGULAR ISLAMIC COURSES AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
WERE CONDUCTED, BENEFITING OVER 100 STUDENTS WHO
AThENDED THE CLASSES CONSISTENTLY. THESE COURSES
COVERED A WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS RELATED TO ISLAMIC
KNOWLEDGE, INCLUDING QURANIC STUDIES, HADITH, FIQH
(JURISPRUDENCE), AND ARABIC LANGUAGE.

DURING THE YEAR, THE CHARITY SECURED INCOME OF £80,071
IN DONATIONS AND FEES. WHICH INCLUDED GI￿AID OF £4.328
AND RENTAL INCOME OF £7,140. THE CHARITY HAD
EXPENDITURE OF £78.663 WITH £27,700 BEING INTEREST-FREE
LOAN REPAYMENTS USING PRIOR YEAR SURPLUSES. THIS
GENEFIATED A SURPLUS OF £1,408WHICH WAS ADDED TO THE
PRIOR YEAR SURPLUSES. AT THE END OF THE PERIOD THE
CHARITY HELD £11,204 IN RESERVES. THE POLICY OF THE
TRUSTEES IS NOT TO HOLD ANY RESERVES BUT TO USE ANY
SURPLUS OR RESERVES FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE
EXPENDITURE.
