MUHAMMADIYAH HOUSE OF WISDOM
REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES for the year ended 31 December 2023
The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2023. The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019).
The Muhammadiyah House of Wisdom (Charitable Trust) are pleased to present the annual report and independently examine financial statements of the year and 31st of December 2023 trustees adopted the provisions of the statement of recommended practice (2005) accounting standards charities at 2011.
It is now been over a year that a new board has been appointed to actively manage the affairs of the charity on a day-to-day basis. The main task is to fund raise for events and help increase the exposure of the charity as previously the charity was very little-known outside of its immediate core network of supporters.
This is the year that has seen the initiation of the Global Peace Mission. This is the new benchmark standard of what the charity wants to achieve over the next 5 to 10 years. We are at the infancy stage of a great endeavour which will come to fruition and manifest into reality over the next 5 to 10 years.
The initial five-year goal is to send delegations around the world to hold seminars and workshops in different countries and cities, especially where there are Muslim populations to help create a spiritual revival and teach them the true authentic teachings of the religion as taught by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Phase 2 of the long-term global peace mission is to help develop interfaith relations and showcase to non-Muslim communities the true peaceful authentic message of Islam, which truly has the potential of uplifting people individually and collectively to a whole new aspect of holistic living.
This is the blue print which is fully in motion now and has seen success as we have already travelled to all major cities around Europe, and to places far afield as New Zealand, Australia and USA.
