The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith acclyding to Iha
principles of the Baptist denomination. Th@ Church may also advance education and carry out

The Activities may include but are not restricted to:

To fvrther the abové objects and vision, the chaiityls main aCtivi￿S arKJ ach￿vementS were as
follows:
At least one worship service has been held every Sunday. with extra opportunitiès to worshlp at
Easter and Chrislfflas and other Holy Da￿.Th@ church have (*l&brated three public acts of
baptism this year, and have celebrated communion at LEAST once each month.There hav& b88n a
numbèr of all agelfamily worship services as well as a tradtlional pattern of worship.Locally the
church support the work of King's Lynn Foodbank and Christians Against Pov8rty.Tha church
hosts a number of groups for the betterment of th8 local community induding but not lirnited
to.wami space drop inl Foodbank satellite centre. F(x)d In the School Holidays. hosting a lo¢al
Christian Bookshop.W8 have a nUM￿r of volunteers at Ihe local hospital chaplaincy.IntematK)nally
W8 partner with Tek Ura in Albania, Bethesda Children's Ministrses in India, Zeal Gospel Church in
Bangalore, India.
In planning the activilies. the truslees have applied Ihe guidance on public benefit issued by the
Charity Commission.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
TO THE TRU5TEE5 OF KINGS LYNN BAPTIST CHURCH
I report to the charity trustee5 on my examination of the accounts of Kings Lynn Baptist Church Ithe
Church) for the year ended 31st December 2025.
Responsibilities and Basis of Report
As the church trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with
the requirements of the Charities Act 20111'the Act,.) The trustees also consider that an audit is not
required under section 144 and that ali independent examination is needed.
I report in respect of my examination of the Church's accounts carried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act. In carrying out my examination, I have followed all applicable direction5 given by the
Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act, alongside specific denorninational guidance
issued by the Baptist Union of Great 8ritain.
Basis of Independent Examiner's Statement
An examination includes a review of the accounting record5 kept by the charity and a comparison of
the accounts presented with those records.
It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking
explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an 3udit, and consequently no opinion is given as
to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view. and the report is limited to those matters set
out in the statement below.
Independent Examiner's Statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no materi31 matters have come to my attention in
connection with the exatnination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect..
l. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the Church as required by section 130 of the
Act,. or
2. The account5 do not accord with those records,. or
3. The accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and
content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matter5 in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.

Accounting Policies
The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis and comprise a statement
that shows the charity's receipts and payments. a stalement that summarises the charity's assets

General funds are unrestricted funds which are available for use at Ihe discretion of Ihe trustees in

that have been set aside by the trustees for particular purposes. Restricted funds are donations
which are to be used in accordance with specific restrictions imposed by donors,. they include
