B) RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF AML AND LEUKAEMIA.C) DEVELOPING RELATIONSHIPS AND SUPPORTING THOSE UNDERTAKING RESEARCH INTO AML.THE TRUST WILL FOCUS ON AML IN CHILDREN, HOWEVER THE TRUST WILL ALSO CONSIDER PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ADULT AML INITIATIVES DUE TO THE SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE ADULT AND CHILDHOOD FORMS OF THIS TYPE OF LEUKAEMIA.THE AMBER PHILLPOTT TRUST HAS BEEN INSPIRED BY THE TRAGIC DEATH OF AMBER ROSE PHILLPOTT WHO DIED AT JUST 18 MONTHS OLD FROM ACUTE MYELOID LEUKAEMIA (AML

**Activities:** Raising awareness of AML at fundraising events.  Providing financial assistance to research into a cure for AML. Before the Trust gained charitable status funds were donated to Oxford University for an ALISA Spectrometer to understand how AML cells interact with the immune system.  Further donations are planned to Birmingham University to assist in extending these results .
