OBJECTIVES AND AcfiviTIES
Objeetlve
Our objective as set out in our 8overning document is 'The promotion of Community Participation in healthy

The facilities are made available to the subsidiaries Grnntham Tennis Club Members Limited and Grantham
Tennis Club Trading Limited in order to provide a platforni to fulfil the charitable aims.
The main activitie$ ar¢:
To maintain the best tennis playing facilities p)5$ible for the community for Graniham and surrounding
villa8¢S
To give as many people as po$sible Ihe opportunity to tske up playing tennis, wh4lev¢r lennis may m¢an to
them, which for some of our players with disabilities I lack of mobility this may just be connecting with a
ball Ihat a coach has thrown to them. The club h&s community at the heart of all decisions made and
understands the wider ben¢fiis of S￿14115]ng log¢th¢r 8T￿ moving.
The Club continues to offer discounted memberships for players on low income and with a disability.
Parents I carers of players wlth a dispbility can also play for free with the member. Parents of minl members
(IO&U) also do not have to be a member to come and play with their children. The club continues io
recognise all modem understanding of 'family'. People do not have to be members of the club to tske part in
activities or just play al the club.
Look for new opportunitles and in¢rease Ihe Club's community Outreach programme understanding the
barriers that various parts of Ih¢ ¢ommunity feel and tying to ¢liminal¢ as many of these as possible.
