Public berd
Ibstock Place School remains commltted to the aim Df providing public benefit in accordance wlth its founding
principles. The Charity Law requlrement lor the School to demonstrate public benefbt forchairtable purposes calls for
detailed disclosure5 concernln8 our alms.
The School does not benefit from any foundation, but belleves that the awardin8 of bursaries for the needy is
measurable means ol providing public benefit. The Governing Body tskes the view that bursaries awarded to those
who would not otherwise be able to afford the fees is important, but not to the exclusion of the much wlder beneflt
that the School provides within the community. Those pupils who attend IP5 and who reCe￿e flnancial support
contribute to the school communty in a variety ol ways, and so the benefit is not purely to these puplls but to the
whole School anij, in some cases. to the widef cornrnunity. This year the School awarded bur53Tles and scholarshSps
