The charity was actively looking for suitable opportunities to make donations. Given the nature of cross border donations, we wanted to make sure that receiving parties/organizations are properly regulated. We are advising them to put regulations in place before any donations can be made. Given this background no charitable donation was made for the year.

Objects: The Objects Of The Charity (The Objects) Are:for The Benefit Of The Public In India And United Kingdom:-(A) To Advance Education By Providing Educational Grants And Scholarships And To Provide Grants To Build Or Upgrade Educational Institutions.(b) To Promote Sustainable Development For The Benefit Of The Public By The Relief Of Poverty And The Improvement Of The Coniditions Of Life In Socially Disadvantaged Communities And The Preservation, Conservation And The Protection Of The Environment And The Prudent Use Of Natural Resources. Sustainable Development Means "Development Which Meets The Needs Of The Present Without Compromising The Ability Of Future Generations To Meet Their Own Needs".(c) To Relieve Unemployment By Supporting The Establishment And Maintenance Of Cottage-Type Industries In Particular By The Provision Of Raw Materials And Any Simple Equipment That May Be Required So That The Conditions Of Life Of Those Involved In Such Industries May Be Improved.(d) To Advance Education In The History, Philosophy, Art, Music, Languages, Literature And Culture Of India(e) To Relieve The Suffering Of Animals In Need Of Care And Attention And, In Particular, To Provide And Maintain Rescue Homes Or Other Facilities For The Reception, Care And Treatment Of Such Animals.(f) The Relief Of Poverty, Sickness And The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health In Particular But Not Exclusively By (I) The Provision Of Grants To Provide Affordable And Clean Drinking Water And Sanitation Facilities In Remote Villages (Ii) To Provide Grants To Build/upgrade Hospitals, Hostels, Old Age Homes, And Orphanages And(iii) To Provide Grants To Maintain Old Age Homes And Orphanages.(g) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Public The Conservation Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment By (But Not Limited To) Planting Trees And Promoting Environmental Awareness To Reduce The Carbon Footprint.(h) To Advance The Religion Of Jainism.(i) To Advance Any Purposes Which Are Exclusively Charitable Under The Law Of England And Wales From Time To Time By Providing Grants To Charities Or Other Organizations Or Individuals Identified By The Trustees At Their Discretion.
