The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bolton and the surrounding area by the provision of facilities for the playing of cricket.

To manage the Social activities for the Club members and local communities. 

To manage the cricket ground and other sports playing facilities at Sunnyside Park, Bolton. 

To ensure that all members, playing and non-playing, abide by the ECB Code of Conduct which incorporates the Spirit of Cricket and by the Laws of Cricket. 

**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** 

To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club by adopting and implementing the ECB ‘Safe Hands – Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children’ and any future versions of the Policy. 

To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club by adopting and implementing the ECB Cricket Equity Policy and any future versions of the Policy. 

To encourage all members to participate fully in the activities of the club. 

## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)** 

All the work to maintain the ground is done by volunteers. Many volunteers do help out in organising and running of Annual Community Fun Day which is very popular in the community. We are very thankful to all the volunteers to carry out this work otherwise the club will not as effectively as it is running now.

## Section D                      Achievements and performance 

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

- Provided indoor and outdoor cricket playing sessions for children age between 8 to 17 and for young adults age between 18 to 14 years old 

- • Three open age teams and four junior teams played in a league 

- • Allowed a junior football team to use our facilities. 

- • Organised fund raising activities eg. Fun day, barbeque, curry night etc. 

- • Ground was used by Barbodhan and Srilankan community to hold The gathering of their community. 

- • Our facility was used by Essa Academy to play school’s matches. • Hold youth club sessions for children age between 11to16 years old. 

- • The club has ran ECB Dynamo and All Stars cricket programmes for children. 

- • Organised community T20 competition on demand from the community. 

- Engage a person to build link with the local community using Award For All grant. Many communities engaged with the session organised by the person and stated fitness and art classes for women. 

- With the help of Greater Manchester Green Space Fund, we are establishing a community Garden at the Club. This will eventually be looked after by the volunteers and community groups.
