Activities
Laamiga is a voluntary community organisation run by women for women who want to become financially independent and gain more meaningful employment. Laamiga's mentors work with mentees to help them improve their self-confidence and sense of wellbeing. In turn, mentors gain an understanding of women from different cultures and an opportunity for personal development.
Objects: 3.1 The Objects Of The Charity (The 'Objects') Are For The Public Benefit:3.1.1 To Relieve Poverty Among Black And Minority Ethnic Women From Refugee And Migrant Communities In London By Supporting Them To Gain Employment And Establish Their Own Businesses.3.1.2 To Advance The Education Of Such Women By Providing Mentoring, Training, Business Support And Career Coaching.3.1.3 To Further Such Other Exclusively Charitable Purposes According To The Law Of England And Wales As The Trustees In Their Absolute Discretion From Time To Time Determine.
