Aim and Purpose

The charity has the responsibility of working with young people aged 11 – 19 years old in the parish of Bere Ferrers and Bere Alston,

Objectives and Activities

To provide a safe space for young people to meet to engage in social and educational activities.

Achievements and Performance

After the difficulties of the Covid 19 pandemic, life is returning to a normal routine. We have been unable to recruit volunteers which has reduced our opening from three sessions per week to two, but are actively looking for new volunteers. There have been 46 young people attending sessions; activities have included healthy cooking, relationships, careers, arts and crafts, community projects.

Financial Review

Total receipts on the General Fund were £7733.29, and payments from this fund totaled £15716.64, giving a loss of £7983.35.

Reserves Policy

Youth 2 Youth does not have a Reserves Policy.

Safeguarding

The charity has complied with all Safeguarding duties

Volunteers

One volunteer has worked alongside our staff to ensure the Hut could be open during the year and we thank them for their continued support and help, along with our treasurer Peter Denis

Structure, Governance and Management

Day to day running is managed by our staff members, with the Chair acting as line manager. There are three trustees who oversee the direction of the work.
