**Objects:** THE NEW OBJECTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:TO PROMOTE GREATER AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE HISTORY OF CONFLICT AS IT HAS AFFECTED OXFORDSHIRE BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A MUSEUM; ANDTO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF THE REGIMENTS OF OXFORDSHIRE AND THE PART PLAYED BY THE PEOPLE OF OXFORDSHIRE IN WAR AND CONFLICT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND IN OTHER COUNTRIES

**Activities:** The purpose of The Soldiers of Oxfordshire Trust is to collect, document, preserve, display and to provide greater access to the material and stories that convey the military life of Oxfordshire and its people through the museum and associated activities. By providing a home in a purpose built museum, SOFO operates a museum increasing public access to this material.
