**Objects:** THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS ARE—(A) TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE CARERS IN AND AROUND THE CITY OFNEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, PARTICULARLY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, INFORMATION,ADVOCACY, TRAINING, COUNSELLING, SUPPORT, FRIENDSHIP AND SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AS THETRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT;(B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION CONCERNING CARING AMONGST CARERS, THE PUBLIC, ANDPROFESSIONAL AND STATUTORY AUTHORITIES.

**Activities:** Services for carers include advocacy, counselling, carer support groups, applying for grants, complementary therapies, training, referrals, information giving, future planning, mediation and support.Services are delivered in the way that best suits the individual carer. We also advance education concerning carers among the public, and among private, statutory and voluntary sector organsiations.
