## Activities

**Objects:** The assistance of adults with Asperger?s Syndrome (known as aspies) in the city of Worcester and surrounding areas to lead lives less disabled by the condition, thereby benefitting them, their family and friends but not exclusively. Providing an environment in which aspies are given the opportunity to: ? Understand and accept their neurological difference ? Gain confidence and improve communication skills ? Build a network of support in the skills required for independent living ? Access suitable education and training courses and develop employment application skills. To provide autism specific in-house and online counselling services to help relieve depression and crisis in persons under the age of 18.

**Activities:** ASPIE provides a social setting, support and psychological/counselling services for adults with Asperger's /autism  at our centre, a safe haven open twice weekly, 52 weeks of the year, where they feel welcome  and accepted, engaging  in various discussions, games, workshops, quizzes etc to rebuild confidence and self-worth enabling them to achieve their aims and the social inclusion they long for.
