Structur4 &>vernance and Management Structure The Foundation is a registered charity. number 1145257 and is constituted under a trust deed dated 19 December 2011 Governance New Trustee5 are appointed by the Founder under the Fower given to them urKJer the Trust Deed establishing the Sawiris Foundation Management The Trustees are charged with condutting the affairs of the charty to accumulate funds to facilitste the making of sustainable grants to charitable projects in the future. Al trustees give of their time freely and no trustee renumeration was paid in the year. Risk Management As a grant maknng charity, the Trustees do t))t f￿1 that the Trust is o￿n to any 9gnificant risks. 3. Objectives and Activities Objects The Trustees are IcK)king to build up resources to ensure that sustainable long-taTn grants can be made for projects to be seletted in the future. During 2023, donations amounting to GBP 61348.02 were received by the Foundation, with redemptions being made to meet Foundation commitments in sutsequent years.
