Jesus Women International Prayer Movement UK May 2021-May 2022

On the 1-5 the December 2021 Jesus women International Prayer Movement celebrated their 10Year anniversary with a three night retreat. We brought to the UK Apostle Emanuel Kure and Wife and was honoured to have the famous international band: Vine Song who came to sing for us during the retreat. This programme brought the gathering of 40 people including adults and children who stayed on site as well 20 people who were daily attendees.

The Vine Song made our social media page capture never before seen traffic of 1500 people Liking our page. We had supported Apostle Kure with his Bible school by donating almost 200 Theological books for his Bible School in Kafanchan Nigeria. These were books given to us by our founder’s former college: Wycliffe hall to support Theological training programmes For African pastors.

We organised three 21 days prayer and fasting programmes throughout the year. During this Time our social media pages were gaining popularity. For example, each meeting there was an Average of 10-40 views per meeting.

We had set up a foodbank with the Anglican Bishop in Nigeria to support the widows and Orphans, we had also supported Bishop Bawa in Abuja Nigeria with her Widows outreach and Worked with the Badagry Pentecostal Chairman to support the ministers on low income. These organisations were able to consistently provide aid to 500 widows and orphans in Nigeria through our donations.

We had numerous supports for the prayer retreats in celebrating our 10 years anniversary. We were able to achieve getting three venues for physical prayer meetings in Oxford, High Wycombe and Nottingham. We hope to get enough people for the anticipated pilgrimage To Israel and Pauls Journey in Ephesus.

This year 2023 we hope to work with seven organisations in Uganda, Durban South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia and USA in the area of providing skills and materials towards the elevation of the trauma from domestic violence. This would be in the form of coaching, Therapy, Business and capacity training. This would enable these women who had suffered Domestic violence gain some skills and confidence back to pursue a second chance in life. We Also plan to set up a prophetic and deliverance centre in the UK.

The aftermath of Covid-19 and the pressures on family life from the cost of living crisis has seen a substantial increase in domestic violence. Victims from minority backgrounds are too often unable to access mainstream support services due to language and cultural barriers. There is an added challenge for women from strong faith backgrounds where violence in the home is seen as “God’s will”.

Jesus women International Prayer Movement Uk helps women to escape these circumstances, by providing practical support as well as counselling to strengthen the personal resilience to overcome these challenges in partnership with our sister organisation Jewins women2women ltd. We supported our sister organisation to set up the first African product charity shop in furtherance of our objectives to alleviate suffering.
