Activities

The Trust exists to celebrate and keep alive the memories of amateur football in the North East and South West County Durham in particular. Due to Covid activties have been severely restricted. However Bishop Auckland Football Club opened a shop in November 2021 which gives a showcase for the Trust's collection.

Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public In The History And Heritage Of Amateur Football, In Particular But Not Exclusively In The Amateur Game Played In The North-East Of England During The Period Known As The 'glory Days' In The 1950s And 1960s And Additionally To Encourage Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Promoting Grass Roots Football.
