cuts to arts fundit]g have been felt across th¢ county.
Audiencelparticipant numbeis have incr¢ased by 14.80/0 on the previous ywar while the nu[n￿r of events has
iiicr¢as¢d by 9.7 %. Iroin 103 10 113. Wliile ili¢s¢ are not hug1¢ figyures, tl)cy are impr¢ssive when lookcd ai in
the context of the sizc ofihe organisation and dcliver evidencc of a need for alld appreciation of the Arts in
Noith Cornwa]l.
Incoi)i¢ lias increased from all strands this year by 46 1)O/o bul OPCTalional costs have incrcaKd by 63V.. This
can mostly be accounted for by iiicreased activity expenditure.
As in pr¢vious years. our concerts ofT¢r a wide range of musical styles from Classical to folk. and Endelienta
Arts continues lo 8ttr#¢t tal¢rited artists boih10¢o1 aiid inlerria¢iondl. Attendan¢¢ was up by 540/0 and tlianks are
due to the Programming Committee for its commitment and vision.
One of our core priorities is access 10 the Arts for young people and our Take Part straiegy continues to deliver
miirh ncedcd schools worksliops boih for PTiIMcUy and secondary school childrcn Family Thcatre
perforniances and Make Club provide invaluable opportunilies to enga¥e as auth"en¢¢ members and
parlicipanis.
Literature is a key part ofoiir strategy and this year saw a very siiccessfiil North Cornwall Book Festiv&I at St
End¢llion, and Author Tours to schools, attractillg well known authors to talk about their work. wlu.le Festival
audience nuinbcrs wer¢ slibkhtly dowD 011 last year, parii¢ipants in the Schools Days saw an increase of 67¥0
and we are delighted to be able to provide th¢se ¢vents to so many young peopl¢_
Reflective Days also saw an increase in partscipanls and we in¢reased the nuu)b¢r of Family Theatre events
froin I to 2.
We have increased our in¢ome from publi¢ and grant fimding. including from ACE. Cornwall Count Council
and from private donations. and cOnt￿Ue to build on our reputation for otT¢ring wide access to quality arts
events in North Cornwall.
A big thank you to 811 the volunteers and sthff who are ambassadors for Endeli¢nta Arts contribute to its
success.

I report to the trustees on my examlnatlon of the accounts of the above charlty
I'the Tfusv) for theyear ended 30June 2023.
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111"the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under
section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all
the applicable Directions given by the Chaflty Commission under section 14515llbl
of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come
to my attention in connection with the exarnination which gives me cause to
believe that in, any material respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the
Charities Act,. or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records,. or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements conceining
the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities IAccounts and
Reports) Regulatlons 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts
give a 'true and fairf vlew whlch is not a matter considered as part of an
independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with
the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to
enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
