The finances of the charity continue to be strong and we are maintaining good reserves in lines with our policy.
The trustees and the staff team are working to ensure ihai we will use our sound financial siluation to build and
develop our work and impact over the coming year.
Policy on reserves
It is the policy of the Trustees that unresiricied funds which have not been designated for a specific use should be
maintained al a 'level equivaleni lo three months expenditure. The Iruslce3 consider that, in the everti of a
significant drop in funding. Ihai they will be able to Continue the charily's aciiviiies while consideration is given

The involvemenl of people with learning disabilities throughout our work is a core value of the charity and we
have lived ihis oui through conferences, workshops, developing more re8ional advisory groups and 8lso Ihrough

Our work this year has been shaped by three key themes:

through praciical, meaningful action.

The Gig Buddies project has now been running for I l years. Over this time, it has evolved into a vibramt, Irustd
initiative Ihal pairs adults with learning di5abili¢ies and autism with volunteers who share similar interests.

This year marked a period of Iran4ition. The departure of our Founder and Executivc Director creaied a space to
renecl and streamline our internal operalions for 8realcr impact and resilience.
We are restructuring our team and introducing cost-saving measures, including moving from a pernianent office
to a co-working space.
We have begun working with a frtelance fundraising consultant to diversify our income and build a more
sustainable funding base.
New partnerships are in developmeni. including collaborations within ihe music industry, local councils, and
Sussex Police around nighttime safely for people wilh learning disabilities.
We artticipate al least one new Gig Buddie5 location launching in 2025-26 and are exploring ways the wider
network can pool resour¢¢s and shar¢ best practice.
We are also exploring how Al and digital ￿OIS can enhance and streamline our work.
Stay Up Late continues to Ihrive because of the p&8sion of our community, the dedication of our team and
volunteers, and the comrnilmenl of everyone who believes in a more inclusive, fun-loving world. We Are proud
