**Objects:** THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE:FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF BURNLEY AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT, TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY THE PRESERVATION, PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF TOWNELEY PARK.

**Activities:** We finance and organise activities to help maintain and improve Towneley Park, and which will encourage more people to visit and enjoy the park. We have a gardening club; craft club; bird feeding programme; mobility scooters on loan; himalayan balsam picking projects with school children;  and 6 special events. We have had a play area built and had benches installed  across the park.
