We have provided the opportunity for people to worship within our church buildings and have continued live streaming on You Tube to spread the Good news of the Gospel to a wider audience.

We have also sought to reach out to the wider community offering guidance and help to any seeking to live a Christian life or who are in need of comfort and help.

When considering the churches activities consideration was given to the commission’s guidance on the public benefit and in particular to the guidance for charities for the advancement of religion

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

We continued to hold weekly Sunday services which were open to all and have welcomed new members this last year. Two adults asked for baptism as believers and it was a time of rejoicing as they publicly demonstrated their faith in Jesus.

The services continued to be live streamed on the internet for those unable to physically attend and the recorded weekly messages are available to all via You Tube.

Two house groups continued to meet weekly in members’ homes for fellowship and Christian teaching.

The Mother and Toddler group met weekly in the church, offering help and fellowship to any mothers in the village.

Door to door visitation has been carried out within the village offering spiritual support and guidance to any seeking help.

During the year some special public meetings have been held dealing with the wonders of creation and the work of various missionary organisations.

During the August bank holiday, a well-attended residential conference was held under the banner of “Truth 4 Youth” which attracted young people from around the country who wanted fellowship and in-depth teaching on Christian subjects.

Some street evangelism has been carried out in Dorchester in the Christmas period where Christian literature was handed out and a Christmas carol service was carried out in a local retirement home.
