**Objects:** TO RELIEVE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES,WHETHER ACQUIRED OR OTHERWISE,THROUGH THE PROVISION OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, AND TO SUPPORT RESEARCH INTO AND PRODUCTION OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES IN THE FIELD OF SPORTS TECHNOLOGY AND MOBILITY THAT WILL PROMOTE THEIR REHABILITATION AND ENABLE THEM TO ENGAGE IN SPORT OR OTHERWISE IMPROVE THEIR DAILY LIVES AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF.

**Activities:** Work and research is still continuing in the development of the 'A-Spring'. We are currently researching alternative cost-effective materials before we start pilot tests with groups identified within hospitals and disability sport. The Andrew Simpson Sport Enabling Award is made each year to an outstanding student at Loughborough University.
