The Church was set up by trust dated 1769 and ts 9)v￿ned at presert by RU￿ fonnulatsj In
1977 and adopted by the Trustees on 20 Juty 2011. The Churth was wtstered ￿￿th the
Charjty CL￿MISsion on 8 NoV￿n￿r 2011.

The Tnts named on page 3 have serv&1 throughout the unless otherwlse stated.
The Trustees are the C*acons and Elders. The Trustees are respjnslbte for tre control and
management of the Church and a￿ appointed members of the Church. No Trustee
has a tenefldal Interest In Charty.

At the year there Vltre employees, the Pastor and a ckaner. There are three unpakl
Elders, Geoff Sayer, t)oug Klng and Steve PhilFott. Our Elders are re¥x)nsSble for the
splrltual leadershlp of tr￿ Church. The rwnalnlng Trustes are Oeacors of the Church.

The prlmary actlvlty of the Church is to malntsln the work of prodalmlrKJ the Gospel of Jesus
Christ In the area, together wrth the care of the memters of tr* Church and congregatkjn.

Durlng the year these amounted to £1,865.
Our Wlcy is to build and maintsln a margin of funds to cover ab)ut 3 to
6 months of expendlture. The comblned reserves held at the Balance Sheet date show that
the Charity currently has suffiC￿nt funts to cover 6 rnnths [£40,OCKI] of overall expenditure.
The Trustees have the major risks to whtch the Tharty ts exFo*d both financval
arbj reputstlonal. Issues considered are t￿ 5e9rega￿n of duties in the handllng of offerings
and fInan￿ generally, t￿ regular review of ￿ premtses for Health and Safety purposes and
the provlsion of a Chlld Pro￿lOn Pdicy. our stsff and volunteers who work with chlldren
and young Peop￿ have deared a DBS cF*ck.

The Finanaal Statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and In accordance wlth
applicable accounting standards.

The Financlal Ststements have ￿en prepared in accordan￿ wlth the Statanent of Recommended Practl
[SORP] "Accounting and Reporting by Charlties- published in March 2005.
Cashflow
The Flnanclal Ststements do not indude a cashflow statement beouse the Charlty, as a small reportjng entity,
Is exempt from the requirement to prepare such a statement under Finandal Reporting Stsndard I "Cashflow
Statements".
Xncome
Income Is accounted ftjr on a receivable basls and allcKated to unrestricted funds and restrlcted funds as
appropriate. Where Income Is due to the Grace Baptst Mission at the pertod erKI, thls Is accrued.
Legades Recelved
Legacles received are credlted to the Statsment of Ftnanclal Activities on a re￿1vable basls. Where a payment
Is received or notifled as receivable after the accounting year end, and It has dearfy been agreed by the
personal representsttves prior to the period end, then tt is accrued in the Ststement of Ftnancial Acuvlties and
the Balance Sheet.
Expenses
Resources expended are recognlsed as a Ilabilty when tr* thurch is commltted to the expendtture.

All capltsl Items are recorded at cosL They consist of chalrs, tsbles, organi pianos, kitchen equipment, toys
