Activities
The charity is the incorporated body of the Diocese Board of Education. The DBE Trust act as a member for all Church Schools within the Diocese of Bath & Wells, that have converted to Academies. The objects of the charity are to advance for the public benefit education in the Diocese of Bath & Wells. Establishing and maintaining Academies under the Diocesan Board of Education.
Objects: 1.1 The Objects Of The Charity Are To Advance For The Public Benefit Education In The Diocese Of Bath And Wells Or Elsewhere, In Particular But Not Exclusively, By1.1.1 Promoting The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of Educational Institutions And The Efficient And Effective Application Of Resources For Such Purposes Including By Promoting And Disseminating Models Of Good Practice And By The Delivery Of Support Services Generally To Such Institutions; 1.1.2 Advancing The Education Of People Who Work Or Volunteer In Or Govern, Educational Institutions In Order To Assist Those Persons To Deliver A High Quality Education To The Pupils And To Communities Served By Those Institutions; 1.1.3 Establishing And Maintaining Academies (primarily But Not Exclusively Church Of England Academies) Under The Direction Of The Diocesan Board Of Education And Fostering The Christian Ethos And Practice Of Educational Institutions;1.2 The Objects Are To Be Conducted In Accordance With The Principles, Practices And Tenets Of The Church Of England.
