Conservation, restoration and management of local ancient woodland sites (Horsham, West Sussex) - current projects - eradication of invasive rhododendron, coppicing, maintenance of rides to encourage wildlife diversification in conjunction with guidance from the Forestry Commission.
Objects: To Acquire, Conserve, Restore And Maintain In A Traditional Manner Ancient Woodland Sites In The Horsham District Council Area And Wider Surrounding Area For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Said Areas By The Provision Of Facilities For Woodland Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Condition Of Life.to Provide Or Assist Through Controlled Access To Woodland Areas And The Proper Maintenance And Preservation Of Such Woodland Areas In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Condition Of Life.
