What We Did: We provided financial assistance to the poor and needy We continued to sacrifice goats throughout the year to feed the poor and needy We distributed food parcels We distributed 100 free Qurans to adults and children as well as schools We built a Community Masjid in Banyaka Village, a much-needed building for a village that lacks basic facilities. We have initiated the development of another village in The Gambia that is desperately in need of assistance. A new Islamic Centre is nearing completion and will provide a place of worship for the habitants of the village. A further two boering wells that are solar powered have also been completed. Outcome: The assistance that we provided helped alleviate the financial hardship faced by the poor and needy. Outcome.. This service continues to benefit the neediest in society. This is an on-going process. This year we experienced a continuous demand as increasing numbers of people are struggling to buy food and pay bills. Conclusion: Providing charity to others is central to our sense of humanity. We are pleased with the successful outcomes of these diverse projects. The support has changed people's lives and given them hope. We have also learned how to deliver our projects with maximum efficiency. targeting resources to where they are most needed and deploying effective financial planning to secure value for money.
