||<br> <br>Main Ac<vi<es for Personal Best Soccer to meet objec<ves -<br>To provide local footballers with the opportunity to develop their skills by<br>working with highly qualifed coaches and to support these individuals in<br>fulflling a career in Sport. Invite local footballers to Personal Best Soccer<br>to develop, both spor<ng and social.<br>Provide an opportunity for individuals released by local professional<br>academies to con<nue to play high calibre football.<br>Each of the age groups has a coaching model which targets development,<br>to give the individuals their personal targets to assist in highligh<ng<br>strengths and areas to improve.<br>Coaching session take place twice a week, with matches at weekends<br>against academy teams across East Anglia. All coaching to be provided by<br>high level qualifed coaches, with a low player to coach ra<o, in order<br>that the individual’s needs are catered for.<br>The coaching provides innova<ve methods to build confdence and self<br>belief, enhancing social, as well as football skills. Develop rela<onships<br>with academies and development centres to provide a compe<<ve<br>learning environment.<br>Take the individuals out of their local area to compete in tournaments in<br>the UK and aboard to develop their personality and social skills.<br>Invite high profle guest coaches and speakers to broaden the individual<br>experiences.<br>Educate the players in all aspects of a spor<ng lifestyle and encourage<br>the individuals reaching 16 years of age to con<nue their development<br>through the Chari<es links with Easton College and Dereham Town<br>Football Club.<br>Provide Dereham Sports College students the opportunity to use the<br>coaching models as assistance to meet their sports Science course<br>criteria.<br>|

Fundraising by parents and associates of the Charity, through a Golf Charity day, which included raffle and Auction.

2023-2024 

Tour to Holland to enrich and enhance young people’s lives. Great success as the U15’s age group won the tournament. 

- Carried forward and sustained 3 age groups as well as 

- maintaining an U18 development squad 

- Gave opportunities to students from Dereham Education & 

- Soccer Academy to coach and gain experience at PBS. This included ex PBS players going full circle into coaching on the programme. 

- Individuals developed communication skills, through writing 

- their own match reports. 

- Ran PBS tournament at Dereham Town Football Club 

- allowing clubs from the East Anglian Region to participate. 

- Large number of boys selected to play for the Norfolk County 

- Schools FA. 

- Tour to Holland , to encourage social interaction. 

- Boys tasked with supporting fund raising through selling raffle 

- tickets and supporting the Charity Golf Day.
