Through technical advice, advocacy, applied research, policy analysis, and capacity development, NRCL works with innovative agents of change within government ministries, civil society, the media, legislatures, the private sector, and international institutions to promote accountable and effective governance in the extractive industries.

Objects: To Advance Education For The Public Benefit In The Management And Use Of Non-Renewable Resources By Governments And Society In Order To Promote Sustainable Development, Poverty Reduction, And Good Governance, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:(1) The Publication And Dissemination Of The Natural Resource Charter And Other Documents And Materials To Enhance Transparency, Effectiveness, And Accountability For Resource Development, Revenue Management And Public Expenditures;(2) Research Regarding The Use Of Natural Resources And Their Revenues And The Impacts Of Natural Resources On Development;(3) The Provision Of Information, Training And Funding To Individuals, Journalists, Civil Society, Policy Makers, Parliamentarians, And Government Officials, And The Convocation Of Meetings Of Governments, Civil Society, Experts And Others To Inform The Work Of The Charity And To Disseminate The Results Of That Work.
