The trustees present their report and the financial ststem8nts of the tharity for the ygar
ended 31 Decpmber 2025. which have been prepared in accordance wth the Trust
Deed. The ttustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and RepDrtlng by
Charities., Statement L)f Rewmmended Pradice applicable to charities preparing their
accounts in ac￿rdance wth the Financial Reporting Standard appI￿￿ble in the UK and
R8public of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019).
LEGAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATN)N
The Twst was created by the will of th8 James Hall who diod In September 1962.
By the te￿$ of Ihe Trust Daed. incDme accumulated for 21 years untl 1983. Upon the
death in August 1997 of James Hau's daughter. Miss Edith Winrfred Hall. the
accumulated capital was transferred to the James Pjfred and Emma Clara Hall Fund.
Tha Income is now available lo fund the tharilatAe obierts of the Trust.

Grants were awarded to St Andrevls ￿Urch Parochial Churth Council amounung to
£118,348 {2024 - £117,297) V￿th totsl expenditure for the year of £118,534 (2024 -

It Is the policy of the trustees trj invest the assets of ts thaiity in Ihe CBF Churd) of
England Funds. The assets are spread a￿osS the dewsit. the fix￿1 interest securtties.

TRUSTEES. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Charities Acl requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each
financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity at
the end of the year and of the incoming and outgoing resources for Ihe year Ihen
ended.
In preparing those financial stalements, Ihe trustees are required to select suitable
accounting policies and then apply them consistently, making judgements and
estimates that are reasonable and Pfudent. The Iruslees must also prepare the
financial statements on the going concem basis unless it is inappropriate to presume
that Ihe charily will continue its activities.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose
with reasonable accuracy al any time the financial posilM)n of the charity and to
enable them to ensure that the financial slatements comply with the Charities Act
2011. The trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity
and hence for taking reasonable sleps for the prevention and detection of fraud and
other irregulaiities.

2025. From 1" January 2025 the commilment 15 by Ihe way of a fixed grant. Any
