Thamani is currently raising funds to help sponsor educational programmes for low income communities living in rural villages in Nigeria, with particular emphasis on women/widows,children and youths.The charity also raises funds from organisations and individuals in order to fund youth-led organisations running orphanages, schools and educational programmes in Kenya.
Objects: To Advance In Life And Relieve The Needs Of Young People Through:1. The Advancement Of Educationa) To Promote, Provide, And Advance Education In Kenya By Providing Funds For The Provision Of Facilities, Teachers, Transport, Payment Of Services And School Supplies. B) Promote The Benefit Of Education To Young Peoplec) Help Local Communities/organisations That Advance Education For Young People.d) Help Create Sustainable Institutions Through Proper Planning And Management And Provide Managed Funding That Sustains These Organisations. 2. The Prevention/relief Of Poverty And Financial Hardship Of Young Peoplea) Providing Funds For Orphanages That Provide Homes For Young People Affected By AIDS And Poverty.b) Providing Aid For Local Organisations That Relieve Poverty/financial Hardship Of Young People.c) Help Create Sustainable Institutions Through Proper Planning And Management.
