The principd purpose of thg Church is the advancèment of the Christian fath according to the
principles and usages for thg time being of Congregationalism and in accordance with any specrfie
requ1￿ments in the Foundation Trusts. The Chur(* may also advance education. relieve need and
cary out other charitable purposes in the Untw Kingdom and other parts of the wortd.
Latimer Congregational Church continues to worship as a small fèllowship. We promotè the gospel of
Jesus Chrtst through prdise. worship and thè teaching and preaching of God's word. We show God's
love by living as Chrisfs ambassadors within our local community. doing, helping and providing as
muth as we can offer in His name, as individuals and as a congregation. We also maintstn our
ministy to the elderly wttt) prayer, comfort, companionship, and spiritual and practical needs. Our
worship is ts appropriate and availatA8 for all agss abilibes.
One of the ways to fvlfill the advan￿ment of the Christian faith is by the provision tsf ex￿rnent facilities
for other chrisb.an charities and oryanis8tions to reach out to thg local community, nationally and
globally. The subsid(sed accommodation enables Christian organisalions b meet, worship. plan and
contsrence in a ￿)dentral setbng and a fully equipp6d chapel for worship and prayer. We are fully
èquipped for dIsabil￿e$ with a plarfom Irft. and designated bedrootn and bathroom facilitEs. We We
supply large print books and onscreen text and have 8 loop system for the hearing impaired.

Achievemants and perfolmance
Wè employ a full-time minkster who shares hèr minw wtth a stster church in KenL promoting the
Gospel tn both c*urches. She is involved locally Mlh thè ¢ommunty care toam in Tower Hamlets
reaching out to the housebound and lonely with support and vi%ts, bringtng them intrj church
fellowship and encouraging their faith joumoy. Wè abo employ a Church Support worker lo support
the pastor in the wnning of the building and church activities. She conh.nues to be the Chtsrches
r¢presentative al a a Natronal level with tho Federation.
In 2023
WÈ continued to preach the gospél to as many as possible through silent prayer groups
and open Church days. We held serVi￿S of worship every Thursday followed by a church and
communty lund). Communion was shared monthly. We continued to have open garden days and
encouraged thè local surrounding Community to particlpate through events and gardening proiects.
Hope UK still works in the area locally, so we are working in pathership to spread the good nèws and
eneA)urage healthy, dnjg free lives through educ￿10￿
Financial rnview
The charitys prinapal source of funds is derivèd from a o)ntinuing tenancy, undar the Hallrford Trust,
with the Latimer Congregational Church bein9 the sole beneficiary. The current annual ￿TrtaI of Frith
Grange & Granoè Farm, Upper Hallrforcf, Shepperton-un-Thames, TW17 8SQ, generatES £147 000
per annum, payable in quarterly instalments. Tho tenancy is re-negot4ated by, the Custodian Trustees.
