trauma counselling tor peopl¢ affected by
crime in Keni & Medway. This is for
individuals agve 13 10 18 and adults with no
upper age limil. The crime incident can be
historical, current, reported or unreported.

In 202J-2024 we continued to see the impact
of COVID-19 pandemic and the global
financial crisis within the referrals we
received and the lack of funding streams to
access. The reduction in ￿"hat we were able
lo raise tinancial l J. in this )'ear led to

conlinue to provide the service to our local
communities and avoid closing the charity.

Our lolal income for 2023-2024 was
£106,738.29. The total expenditure was
£162,970.24. The balance carried forward
was £49,007.74. Ofihis £16,597.22 is
restricled funding.

We hold £32,410.52 unrestricted funds in the
bank for any unforeseen circumstances and
lo ensure safe closure for clienls if the
chariiy has to cease trading. We aim to keep

Our main source of funds have been Sir

Schreier Foundation, OPCC, Tesco
Groundworks, Keni Communiiy Foundation,
Cobiree Charit<ible Trust, Co-op local

We also raised funds via direct donations
from service users and the &ieneral public.
These funds have enabled us to provide
much needed specialist trauma counselling to
the people affecled by crime.
We also continue to develop a community
fundraising) slralegy, the income from this
enables us io fund smaller, unexpected
expenses such as client travel or ad hoc room
hire.

We hold £33612.14 unrestricted funds in the bank for any unforeseen
circumstances and to ensure safe closure for clients if the charity must cease
trading. We aim to keep this reserve for the coming year.
We hold £15,395.60 restricted funds to be used in the coming year as per grant
agreements with funders.
Our main source of funds have been, Kent Police & Crime Commissioner, Sir
Thomas Smythe, Cole Charitable Trust, Schreier Foundation, Tesco
Groundworks, Kent Community Foundation, Cobtree Charity Trust, Co-op
Community Fund, Colyer Fergusson Charitable trust, Philip and Connie Phillips
Foundation, Masonic Charitable Foundation. We also received donations from
various routes. We raised money through community fundraising events and
through training events.
These funds have enabled us to provide much needed specialist trauma

community fundraising strategy, the income from this enables us to fund
