Happy Days AGM 14 March 2023
Welcome to everyone present and thank you for coming.
Staffing
We would like to congratulate Sharon on her new role as Joint Manager and Zoe taking on the role of Deputy.
Welcome to new members of staff, Becky Farrell and Fiona Cook.
Sadly we said goodbye to Gemma and Maisie who is now on maternity after the birth of her baby girl.
Vikki has given notice that she is leaving at the end of the Summer Term, we will be appointing a new member staff (level 3) for the September Term.
Numbers of Children are good, with 20 children most days and 30 children on the register.
The council have offered to help us secure a grant to decorate Happy Days and a replace kitchen! We need to get 3 supplier quotes.
All staff have completed First Aid training along with Safeguarding.
A huge thank you to Staff and Parents for their fundraising efforts, without this we would not have the ‘extras’ that make our setting so welcoming. This year we raised £900 from Santa’s Sleigh, we also raised funds from the Bubble Pop and Christmas raffle.
The proposal to develop the Sports Centre and the surroundings are now under review in light of the current economic climate.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
-
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
