accordlrq to the law ot E￿land and Wales and are connerted wlth the charftable work of the trust

has bultt a school on land donated by the local communKy In Kabul. Af8hanlstsln .The maln flnanclal
support comes from Pop Up 38, a charity boutlque operatlr4 In ¢entral London *thlch glves 100% of
Its woceeds to the school. A slster 5chryA Is planned.
One of the maln oblertives of the Charity is to ensufe that Iys and 81rfs receNe a hlgh stan(krd of
#ducatlon In a nurturtn8 envlronment. Many of the puplls we supwt have been vlctlms of war and
dlwacement through perse¢utlon. We alm to provlde o stsble en￿roThment for these chlldren and
help them to work towards a better future for theMSetr￿5.
The polldes and operatin8 de¢bions of the Chartty rest wlth the Trustees who meet r￿Ula￿V to
oversee the actIvI￿e$ of the Charity.

The rnalorlty of fvnds ralsed ￿ the Tnjst come Pop Up 38, the charity boutye founded solety
tor that purpose. It15 run by volunteefs and the stock ts largefy donated. Money rnlsed. net of bas1¢
expenses and bu$lness rats& Is all 8l¥en to the sCtrK￿ and 8ssoclated projerts.
Alms for 2025
We are thankful that our School In Kabul contlThJes to owate a8aln5t the odds. Thfs Is due to the
extraordlnary sacrmces made ty the local 5faff there - acceptln8 pay cuts •nd *￿rkIng under very
dffficult condftlons. WFth the benefft of advice from other orlanisatlons that operate In Af8hanlstan
we were able a8aln to give finandal support dlrectly to the School. The School ha5 plans for
number of projects to enhance the facilltles for 5ts 690 pup115 and staff. The Trust Intends to help
with the costs of the construcuon of a second xhool.

Income for the ￿ar to 30 A￿1 2025 amounted to £38,463 and the expendlture for the same perlod
was £51,022. Bank balances at 30th Apdl 2025 totalled £169,266. Ouring the year we have been able
remlt money to the school through a reputable local Hawala that was recommended to us by
another lar8er NGO that i)perates In Af8honistsn.
The Board of the Charlty has establlshed a w15cy whereby free reser￿ hekl by the Charlty should
be malntained at a mlnlmum level due to the Charlty not havln8flxed commltments to expendlture.

The Trustees have revlewed the rfsks to whlth a small chaTIty operattn8 overseas Is exposed.
Approprlate procedures have been put in place to klentlfy, monltor and review these rtsks on
regular basls.
