## **Oasis Church / Jubilee Christian Centre - Annual Report 2024**
## **Introducton**
Oasis Church was based at St Barnabas Church Centre in Hereford from 2017 to the end of March 2024. Since April 2024 we have been meeting at St Mary’s High School in Lugwardine on Sundays.
Our focus for ministry extends beyond the City of Hereford, across the County and beyond. We partner with other churches in our city and county in various initiatives as well as investing into overseas missions through a number of individuals and charitable organizations who are engaged in Christian mission and relief work in nations throughout the world.
## **Aims and Actvites**
Our main aim as a church family is to represent Jesus Christ and reproduce followers of Christ. We aim to present the message of Jesus Christ and live out our faith in ways that are consistent with this message and are of benefit to local communities, offering them the opportunity to explore faith for themselves and discover the relevance of the Christian message for their lives. We also work in partnership with other churches and agencies in seeking to achieve our aims.
## **Services / Gatherings**
Throughout 2024, Sunday services continued along with other associated activities. Various groups have continued to meet in person and online.
We also continued to host a Filipino group and three other church communities from the south of India, who held their services at St Barnabas up until the end of March 2024.
We also continued to help facilitate City Praise, a gathering in Hereford Cathedral, which provides an opportunity for people from across various denominations to join together in worship and prayer.
## **Mission Support**
We continued to invest into overseas missions through a number of individuals and charitable organizations who are engaged in Christian mission and relief work. Among others, we continue to support a man who works with indigenous tribes in northern Malaysia, a couple who have planted several churches in Belgium and a ministry that has built and continues to run several children’s homes in India. We have also continued to support a growing church community in Bathore, Albania.
We also helped to support individuals through times of financial crisis.
## **Water Carriers**
Water Carriers is the name given to a discipleship course written by one of our members, primarily designed for children, young people and families in developing countries. This project was launched in 2019 and grew to serve families and churches in an increasing number of nations throughout Africa and Asia.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2024.
**Responsibilities and** As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
**Independent** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
